Gunmen abduct Apostle Bako and wife at prayer camp on Christmas Day

It was another Black Friday at Kaduna State as Bandits abducted the State’s Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Apostle Emmanuel Egoh Bako and his wife, Cindy Bako.

The ugly incident happened at Jema’a Council of the State.

According to the Kaduna State Police Command’s PPRO, ASP Jalige, Bako was kidnapped along with his wife and one other person around 8 o’clock in the night in a prayer camp inside a bush. “We have dispersed our men to the entire area and we are combing the forest to secure the release of the victims,” he said.

The state’s Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement, said security agencies reported to the state government that unidentified gunmen attacked the Albarka Praying Camp along the Afana-Fadan Kagoma-Kwoi road in the council.

“The gunmen fired sporadically, hitting a vehicle as can be seen in the attached pictures, before abducting Apostle Bako, his wife and one Mr. Douglas from the camp. Troops arrived the location and pursued the kidnappers who were however able to escape with the victims,” he said.
